so far may has brought just as many showers as april...
(allowing me to put a few miles on my new rain boots)
including yesterday's showers which fell all day during my first attempt at a local outdoor art show in Great Neck. 
So much rain, that we didnt even pull out all our art & only the bravest of the brave ventured out to see what was on display....
so, the day was a bit of a bust for me, but my little assistant couldnt have had more fun splashing in the puddles in his rain boots with his trains.
& these trees! they are suddenly everywhere! & how they make my heart swell.....
next attempt @ a local outdoor fair is may 16th & 17th on our very own street in Lynbrook where our art center sits. At least we'll have the train trestle to keep us dry if necessary !
